What is a solar street light?

A solar street light is the luminaire powered by solar energy, designed to light up the streets or roads. This is the narrow definition of solar street lights; in the broad sense, it covers a much wider range. In terms of energy sources, street lights that use wind energy or grid electricity as a supplement should also be classified under the broader category of solar street lights. As for usage, whether they are 3–4 meter solar lights for pathways, 5–10 meter ones for streets, or 10–25 meter ones for main roads or expressways, we often call them all solar street lights.
